Webinar - How to get funding? 

For our webinar on Weds 22nd March, we were very pleased to welcome Dr Erika Kennington from Asthma + Lung UK, Dr Kasia Kuleszewicz from NIHR RfPB and Dr Ian Newington from NIHR i4i. Each discussed funding available from their teams and general advice on applying for funding for your research study. The recording can be seen below. 

Our webinar on 15th March covered Research Ethics with Mr David Carpenter, independent trainer and consultant in research ethics, research ethics committee chair and retired lecturer in moral and political philosophy. We covered how committees approach applications, how to improve your chances of a successful application and practical tips when designing your research. 

For the opening of our series of research webinars, we were proud to host Professor Anthony De Soyza, NIHR National Specialty Lead for Respiratory Medicine. 

 

Prof De Soyza spoke about use of the PICO format in study design and funding, and about the NIHR HTA process with examples. A recording of the webinar can be watched below.
